Preparing for FRCS or FEBU exams can feel isolating. You’re working through questions, reviewing guidelines, but it’s hard to know whether your performance is on track compared to other candidates at a similar stage.
That’s why we’ve launched the Leadership Scoreboard — a new feature that lets you see exactly where you stand.

What the Leaderboard Shows
When you log in, you’ll now see a Leaderboard tab in your dashboard. Here you’ll find your overall rank among SmashUrology users, your personal accuracy percentage, and how that compares to the platform average. The rankings table shows top performers across the community, with all identities kept anonymous.
To qualify for the leaderboard, you’ll need to complete at least 10 questions. This threshold ensures the rankings reflect genuine engagement rather than a handful of lucky guesses.
Topic-Specific Rankings
Beyond the overall leaderboard, you can also see how you rank within individual topics — whether that’s uro-oncology, andrology, functional urology, or any other area in the question bank. This helps you identify where you’re strong and where you might need to focus more attention. If you’re consistently ranking lower in a particular topic, that’s a useful signal for directing your revision.
Why We Built This
This feature came directly from user feedback. Several subscribers told us they wanted a way to gauge their progress — not just in absolute terms, but relative to others preparing for the same exams. Healthy competition can be motivating, and seeing that you’re improving against a benchmark adds context that raw scores alone don’t provide.
What’s Next
We’re exploring additions like progress trends over time and weekly challenges. If there’s something you’d find useful, let us know.
